In Chinese, there are two common adverbial modifier particles: 地 and 得 - both pronounced 'de'. These are both used to link adjectives or adverbs to verbs Which one is used depends on whether the adverb/adjective appears before or after the verb. In this topic we illustrate the use of the modifier 地 (de). To form an adverb using 地 we use the pattern: [adjective] + 地 + [verb] |
