What is LEXEphant?
LEXEphant is an AI companion for foreign language learners. Collect your own words and phrases, explore their meanings and grammar, listen to their pronunciation and swipe to review. Thousands of included example phrases give you more to learn from.
How can I add words and phrases?
Choose a language, then type or paste a phrase, scan text with your camera or from a photo, or add an included example. You can also start with an English meaning: type, paste or dictate it, then translate it into your chosen language. Pronunciation audio is generated automatically when you add the phrase.
Are example phrases included?
Yes. LEXEphant includes thousands of example phrases across its 14 language options. Explore them alongside the words and phrases you add yourself.
How do I review my collection?
Tap the blue down-arrow button to open swipe review. Keep swiping left to work through your words and phrases, with their pronunciation and meaning. You can also tap an item in the main collection to hear its audio.
How does built-in audio generation work?
When you add a word or phrase, LEXEphant automatically generates its pronunciation using AI. Tap the item in your collection to listen, or play the audio during swipe review. The built-in generation also supplies the sound for videos you share.
What does the phrase analysis do?
Long-press an item for AI analysis of nuances in meaning, word-by-word grammatical structure and cultural context.
Is LEXEphant free?
LEXEphant is free to download. A paid monthly subscription unlocks all features. Your app store shows the current subscription options and price in your currency.
Does it support Brazilian and European Portuguese?
